2016 continues in the footsteps of 2015. One of my paintings "Almost Done" has been selected for inclusion in the upcoming Charlotte Hall Veterans Home Gallery Exhibit, taking place from February 18, 2016, to June 15, 2016! Almost done depicts a young boy doing artwork as he gazes out of a window, it exemplifies the struggle that goes in in our [my] life to keep working as, he is "almost done" the task at hand.
DCPS is going Place, and so am I. Every student deserves a world of possibilities; that's why DCPS developed a study abroad program. DCPS Study Abroad helps ensure that our global citizens have access to global experiences, so that travel becomes the expectation rather than the exception for students. All 8th and 11th grade DCPS students who are studying a World Language are eligible for short-term study abroad programs on language immersion, global leadership, or service learning. On June 20 I will be taking a group of 11th grades to study pre-Columbian art and the ancient Inca site of Machu Picchu; we will spend 9 days between Lima and Cuzco before returning home on June 28
I'm more than my title will ever be.
